MEGA PIXEL is an American Hip-Hop/Pop band founded by musicians Dave Zup and Benjamin J S Rivet (BJSR). The duo debuted in 2017 at SXSW and released their first EP, "Closer." After a stretch of live performances throughout the following year, Zup and Rivet began spending time at an isolated cabin in northern Michigan and started working on what would become their second offering as a band. The cabin’s location provided the natural sounds of the surrounding wilderness which the band used heavily as inspiration. The 5 songs they produced and recorded focus on themes of self-acceptance, accountability, and togetherness.
