Helpster is a mobile application that connects students with tutors at a click of a button. A video session is started between the two users allow students to get immediate help and allowing tutors to earn money right from their phone. Students select the subject they need assistance with and can enter a simple description. They click the request button which will connect them to a tutor in seconds. The video chat is then initiated and the student is charged for each minute spent tutoring. Helpster is a very inexpensive app for tutoring with some subjects starting as low as 25 cents/minute.
