There's a lot of Nashville hopefuls hitting the independent airwaves through traditional radio and Internet channels. Many of these same hopefuls carry the heart and pride of Nashville's rich musical history on their sleeve—giving the bold and beautiful city the representation it deserves.
It's no wonder that Nashville's latest son of independent country music is country singer Wayne Jacobs. He's now an award winning professional songwriter, performer and even composer with two Number Ones to his name in the city of cozy Nashville, Tennessee.
Jacobs' success is owed to his passion for music, whether songwriting, composing and performing in front of his fans. His humble beginnings trace back to the 1980s, where he attended night school for three and a half years, taught musical tools-of-the-trade by fellow folk singer named Pauline. It was Pauline's praise of his songwriting that led to his predilection for just creating songs for the things and people he cares about the most.
