WVR is a label based in Mannheim, Germany, which has been founded in october 2012 by the idea of releasing limited runs of tapes but in the meantime is aiming to mostly release records on vinyl. We also carry a small distro offering hand selected records. We don’t care about genres that much. The most important points are the personal relation towards the music and authenticity. Keywords may be: dark, slow, fast, violent, heavy, dreamy, ambient, drone, unconventional, unclichéd. As we are only putting out one or two handful releases per year we are aiming to release only records we stand behind 100% - musically and visually. We believe in a common and constant growth of the label and its related bands. Our goal is to build up a roster of artists to work with on a permanent basis.
