BIM Bydgoskie Impresje Muzyczne znane także jako Międzynarodowe Spotkania Muzykującej Młodzieży są organizowane przez Pałac Młodzieży w Bydgoszczy od 1977 roku. W festiwalu uczestniczą chóry, orkiestry, zespoły jazzowe i rockowe, rozrywkowe, muzyki dawnej oraz grupy folklorystyczne. Każdy zespół musi posiadać w repertuarze konkursowym jeden utwór polskiego kompozytora. Główne nagrody to Grand Prix festiwalu oraz nagroda Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions, also known as an International Meeting of Young Musicians have been organized by the Youth Centre held since 1977. The festival hosts choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, pop music bands, old music bands and folklore groups. The regulatory obligation is to have one Polish piece in the repertoire. The main part of the festival is a competition in which the participants may apply for prestigious awards e.g. The Grand Prix for the best groups founded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
