Hey, I’m Ross Baker. I’ve been making electronic music and designing sounds since the early 2000s, recording under names such as rb2k1, alphablue, ross b, venue, marrow & ivy, and others. I spent a lot of time working with Roland’s JP-8000 and JP-8080 synths, attempting to recreate the classic supersaw oscillator.
I started this channel to make sure my music and sound design don’t fall prey to time forgotten on an old hard drive — I wanted a place where my young boys Chase & Ash (and anyone else who loves this stuff) could find it someday.
