Acadence is a Regina-based Americana duo featuring the homegrown talents of Alexandra Barabe (vocals, kick drum) and Matt Cudmore (vocals, guitar, piano), whose passion for music brought them together in early 2015. The duo has had a busy year together, performing at local festivals and events such as SaskTel’s Summer Invasion and Rosetown’s Family Harvest Fest, as well as live segments on CTV Morning Live and Global Morning News in Regina. Highlights of their first year together include a third place finish in the Scotiabank Songwriters Showcase in Moose Jaw, and nominations for a Toronto Independent Music Award and Best New Act in the latest edition of Prairie Dog Magazine’s Best of Regina. Acadence is currently busy promoting The First Chapter and preparing for several upcoming local shows and media appearances.
