I joyously create with yarn. Toys. Patterns. Tips & cheats. I'm a grandmother. I am Lil'wat Ucwalmícw. My gramma Julia taught me to knit and crochet as a child; amigurumi provides me the greatest feeling of accomplishment - that, and they best match my mostly acrylic (as my budget dictates) stash. The joy I find in knitting is an important aspect of my self care, it's not a job, it helps me cope with chronic pain. I've made pattern demos here of my own designs, my abbreviations and technique descriptions are unique-ish, but I don’t get many requests for clarification so I suppose they are effective.
