The channel Lp jcm6100 is dedicated to the Rotterdam bands Penitentiam Agite and Brunt.
Penitentiam Agite was an independent goth rock band formed in januari 1992 and consisted of a singer, two guitarplayers, a bassplayer and a drum machine. The band released several cassettes and played gigs in dutch clubs like Nighttown Basement Rotterdam, Bibelot Dordrecht and Eland Delft. Penitentiam Agite were support act for german EBM / metal crossover legends Die Krupps and British goth-rock band Asylum in 1994. After an evolution resulting in a heavier riffs, bigger amps and the abandoning of the smoke machine, the band changed the name Penitenitam Agite into Brunt.
Brunt was a grunge metal band: Soundgarden meets Die Krupps, Machine Head meets Fields of the Nephilim. Brunt used Marshall jcm6100 stacks, Trace Elliot stack, Gibson and Music Man guitars in drop C tuning, Alesis SR16 and DM. The band stopped in may 1996 after playing their final gig in Het Paard van Troje in Den Haag.
