For Louisiana is no longer an active organization however these videos remain available as a celebration of the lived that it touched. The Spoken Word Project was a 4 year program (2012-2016) that promoted literacy through writing workshops and self expression. It was a platform to showcase young artist in the Northeast Louisiana area and document their progression and journey as artists and members of the next generation. Our program mantra is Speak and Be Heard. So please, listen. We are artists and educators, business owners and innovators. We are For Louisiana.
