Welcome to our Bluebird Channel! We live and work seven miles from historic downtown Santa Fe. We are the "Atelier of the West" and we offer workshops for the study of traditional fine arts under the guidance of professional artists. We host events beyond the traditional workshop and offer students a memorable experience to soak up the history, culture and ambiance only Santa Fe can offer.
We are located in the heart of the American West where the desert and mountains meet. The well equipped 2,000 sf studio is tucked into the southern edge of the Sangre de Cristo mountains on a sheltered 9-acre horse ranch of rolling hills that are dotted with piñon pine, juniper, chamisa and sagebrush just off the Old Santa Fe Trail.
We hope each guest will depart with a renewed spirit, a deepened confidence in their own art processes and a treasured memory of "the old west". We welcome total beginner and the most experienced painters.
