Explore the Wonders of Forgotten Film Collection of rare and historic films from various archives. My goal is to restore these films, into an experience that retains the details and message. Most of the films have varying degrees of damage, as even pristine copies experience a loss of contrast and detail as the film ages restoration brings the life back into the film. My Process My collection of films undergoes an original restoration procedure. Utilizing various Neural Engines at low levels over multiple passes across different resolutions, I preserve the original details through the gradual process. Alongside neural engine tools, I employ a range of traditional video editing software to mitigate minor damage, fading, haze, and artefacts while safeguarding the integrity of the original film. The Name The early 1900s, movie theaters known as Nickelodeons offered a variety of content; movies, newsreels, and animation, for just 5¢ to the public.
