I'm trying to become genuinely good at football scouting from the back rooms of non-league football. Back in 2020, I'd do little more than watch the ball and count the goals. Now I'm obsessed with patterns, tactics and the details that decide matches, and I work as an opposition scout for a non-league football club. These videos document that journey. Some are about scouting reports. Some are about tactics. Some are about the process, diagrams and ideas I'm using to understand football better. The goal is simple: become good enough that my work actually changes what happens on a Saturday afternoon. Sometimes it works. Plenty of times it doesn't.
