Skinny Knowledge are an exciting 4-piece alt-rock band hailing from the south coast of England, formed in 2020 by frontman Andy L Smooth. The band's sound and high energy live performances capture the vibrancy of the raw and raucous, early 90's grunge and pop-punk sounds, reminiscent of the likes of Foo Fighters, Green Day, Nirvana, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Sum 41. The band has gained praise from a number of high-profile music platforms, including Kerrang, Classic Rock Magazine, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and many more. Since the release of their debut album ‘Don't Turn Out the Lights’, the cheeky-chappy foursome have gone on to release singles as well as touring. This summer saw them bring their ever crowd-engaging and fun live show to the inaugural Maid of Stone festival in Kent opening the Emerging Rock Bands stage with more shows to be announced. Their highly anticipated new album ‘twentytwo.’ will be released October 27 2023.
