The European Language Grid (ELG), funded by the European Union, is meant to develop into the primary platform for Language Technology in Europe. While multilingualism is a key cultural cornerstone of Europe, there is an imbalance in the support of our languages through technologies. The ELG platform provides access to hundreds of commercial and non-commercial Language Technologies for all European languages. It allows uploading, distributing and sharing tools and resources and is meant to be a virtual home for all European members of the LT and NLP community, including industry and research.
