Vaselyne is a duo from the Netherlands, consisting of singer and lyricist Yvette Winkler (Sea of Souls) and producer/musician Frank Weyzig (Clan of Xymox, Born for Bliss). Their project was born out of a shared artistic curiosity in the spring of 2011. Inspired by artists such as David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Japan, Peter Hammill, and A Perfect Circle, Vaselyne's sound blends post-punk, rock, and darkwave. Creating a unique fusion of emotionally charged music, incorporating both electronic and acoustic instruments.
