Lickety Split is an Acoustic Duo with Steve Dannenbaum (vocals, 6 and 12 string guitars) and Dan Gutenkauf (vocals, bass, keyboards and harmonica).
Steve Dannenbaum was a staple in the Phoenix area music scene from 1970 through 1985; providing memorable guitar and vocal performances. During a portion of that time, he teamed up with Dan Gutenkauf to form the popular duo, Lickety Split. Steve was known for his long tenures at popular venues and was the opening act for Kenny Loggins at the Celebrity Theater. One of the memorable highlights of his musical career, was spending about 3 months hanging out and playing with Bob Dylan. In addition to playing a repertoire of over 700 “cover songs”, Steve has also written well over 100 songs and sprinkles them in his current musical selections.
