The Warm Paws Project is what I call the rescue work I’m already doing here in rural Bulgaria - taking in stray, abandoned, injured, or otherwise forgotten animals and giving them a safe place to land for as long as they need it. Sometimes that means emergency vet runs, sometimes stray kittens, sometimes just food, warmth, and a quiet place to recover. It’s small, practical, and very hands-on - focused on the animals that fall through the cracks of the system here.
