This channel brings jazz music into conversation with Christian community, asking: how can we improvise on the biblical tradition with fresh imagination? Mark Glanville is Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College, Vancouver, and an Old Testament scholar. Mark most recently authored Refuge Reimagined: Biblical Ethics in Global Politics co-written with Luke Glanville. Mark pastored for 14 years in urban, justice-seeking churches. He has been bi-vocational, combining reflective pastoring with biblical scholarship. Mark is also a trained jazz pianist, active on the Vancouver jazz scene.
