Due to economic difficulties, my family moved to Laos to live and make a new living. At that time, I was only 10 years old, my parents hoped that moving to Laos would make the family's economy better. But in reality, my parents' hopes failed, life in Laos was not better. My mother passed away when I was 20 years old, my father and I still tried to build a family life. This year I am 30 years old, my father just passed away in a recent work accident, I have no relatives in Laos. I packed up to return to my homeland Vietnam, to find my relatives and the land my parents left behind, that was my parents' wish when they were alive.
