In a bit of an artistic twist, I like taking songs and converting them to acoustic ukulele pieces. The idea is that good songwriting is good songwriting, regardless of the style it is performed in; a lot of people who don't like a particular song may in fact only dislike the genre it's played in. Keep the chords and lyrics, but mix up the instrumentation, and they may find they like the song after all!
Compositions arranged under fair use. All works presented on this channel are classifiable as parody under the assumption that the songwriters I have covered took their choice of genre very seriously; my own personal arrangements of these songs are a deliberate artistic violation of the original spirit of their authors. In other words, turning the songs on their ear are my way of exercising free speech to communicate, in my own way, that people shouldn't take their music (whether writing it or listening to it) so seriously.
