Mentorships in Dentistry, Inc (MIND), formerly Diversity in Dentistry Mentorships, brings together aspiring students and oral health professionals to foster community, share knowledge, and offer meaningful mentorship that inspires and supports one another along the journey to a fulfilling career in dentistry. MIND is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing the oral health profession through mentorship. We provide school-aged children and undergraduate students, especially those with limited opportunities, access to career pathways in oral health. Through meaningful mentorship and innovative educational programs, we open doors to the profession. Rooted in shared purpose, service, and leadership, our mentors and mentees grow together strengthening the dental workforce, advancing health equity, and expanding access to quality care.
