Di Svingers (The Swingers) is a Yiddish swing revival band established at the 2025 KlezKanada Summer Retreat. The original band members include Chloe Shekinah Resler (vocalist), Ilana Zackon (vocalist), Eviatar Shlosberg (trumpet), David Chevan (bass), Jonah Saks (accordian) and Ben Sutin (fiddle). Inspired by the Yiddish Swing Movement of the 1930s and 1940s, including artists such as The Barry Sisters and Moishe Oysher, their music is a mix of covers and original arrangements of "swingified" Yiddish tunes. Dubbed "the new Barry Sisters", Ilana and Chloe's infectious harmonies and the band's upbeat, swinging sound are sure to get you up on your feet!
