The Austrian Cultural Forum Ottawa provides a platform for cultural, artistic and scientific exchange between Austria and Canada. The focus of our work is supporting emerging Austrian artists, scientists and scholars to present their work in Canada, in cooperation with local partners. In line with the quote attributed to Gustav Mahler “tradition means passing on the fire, not worshipping the ashes”, our programming pays particular attention to the contemporary aspects of creative, cultural and scientific activities in Austria.
