I play SLOP'n'LOL on a Casio Keyboard in a onemanband called Krachdeedot (Noise Todd), currently from the outskirts of Philadelphia, PA.
SLOP'n'LOL = DIY, punky, poppy, noisy, messy, raw, lo-fi music which often sails wide of any goal posts of technical precision in favor of a music making dream - just doing it regardless, playing music the way I love to play it : )
A dream 40 years in the making. I honestly thought this would never happen, thought I'd die a dreamer. Never to happen for whatever reasons. Just blame myself for being filled with fear, worry, and doubt afraid of trying not taking the leap.
As I've discovered over time, dreams that don't go away should probably be followed. So I do this now. My dream lives and I joyfully embrace the sheer ridiculousness and absurdity of my musical pathway. Sure, even I wonder why the heck I do it...but the fear of not doing this is worse. For some reason I feel this is all worth it and I will be ok. I'll be ok.
