The Steven Myron Holl Foundation (SMHF)’s mission is to inform the public about urgent issues concerning art and architecture; to stimulate a critical and theoretical exchange of ideas in the context of today’s cultural, political, economic, and technological conditions; and to educate and entice new ways of thinking about the arts, design, and ecology. Founded in 2010 by architect Steven Holl, the ‘T’ Space Gallery (a program of SMHF) has exhibited a diverse array of emerging and established artists including Ai Weiwei, Martin Puryear, Torkwase Dyson, Brice Marden, Agnieszka Kurant, and Ann Hamiton. SMHF’s programs include architecture and art exhibitions, publications, residencies, lectures, performances, poetry readings, an art installation trail, and an extensive public architectural archive and research library, located on a 30-acre woodland nature preserve in the Hudson Valley. SMHF is a nonprofit. If you enjoy our content, please consider a gift: tspacerhinebeck.org/support
