MACGUFFIN STATE is a satirical infotainment web series about knowledge, those who are trying to attain it and those who are trying to share it. Just like THE COLBERT REPORT or LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER seek to give audiences the fuller truth behind current events, MACGUFFIN STATE seeks to give audiences the fuller truth behind topics one might learn in college. Each episode takes place in a college classroom and involves interplay between a Professor and three Students. Sometimes the students learn, sometimes the professor learns, but the audience always leaves amused and more aware.
