Just Rights for Children (JRC) is a network of more than 250 civil society organizations working to end violence against children, specifically rape and sexual abuse. Working in India, Nepal, Kenya and the United States of America, JRC aims to create an ecosystem-level response at scale through legal interventions and community engagement. JRC was born from the vision outlined in Bhuwan Ribhu's path-breaking book, Just Rights: Why Justice Should Be a Fundamental Right. In it, the Founder of JRC advocates for the Right to Justice as an enforceable Fundamental Right for all citizens, especially children. In India, JRC’s partners have empowered survivors to raise their voices and fight for their rights through relentless efforts. Together, we have driven accountability in law enforcement, reformed laws and policies, enhanced institutional transparency, and delivered justice to those who need it most.
