I set up this channel to document my (mostly university) life as I embark on a career change to become a physicist. I already have a degree (I graduated six years ago), which means there is very little funding available now. The main challenges are financing my second degree, being a mature student, and studying a subject I didn't think I was smart enough to study when I was 18. The other aspect of this channel is to help me improve my communication and public speaking skills. If I become a researcher, I'm going to need to present my work at conferences etc. so I may as well start practicing now! I am also very interested in outreach and science communication and this channel seems like a good testing ground. I hope you enjoy. If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Hannah
