Welcome to our channel! Pint of Science Australia is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation who aims to increase the public awareness of local Australian science, contribute positively to combatting inequity and the negative stereotypes imposed on both appreciators of science and scientist while supporting cross-discipline collaborations such as art and science. Our annual event, as part of the international Pint of Science festival, sees scientist from across the country head to the pub for three days in May and have a chat about what they're currently researching. It's relaxed, it's fun, it's eye-opening about what goes on around our backyards, or behind closed lab doors. Join us as we celebrate Australian science.
