Avli (Avi Avliav) is a record producer, music director and songwriter. He has produced and arranged hits for several artists and his career has spanned 12 years at major record labels, but he is best known as a "mentor" in guiding the careers of unknown artists. Among the artists he has worked with include Maya Buskila (Best Female Pop Vocal Performance 2004 Israel), Dikla (Best new artist 2001, Israel), Aya Korem (Best Female Pop Vocal Performance 2006, Israel), Karen Hecht, Kenya Hodson, Boney M, and many more... Avli was nominated for the Israeli Oscar award at the age of 20 for 6 Million Pieces" (2001) -- Nominee, Music (Original Score), and won out of 4500 candidates for "Best music in short film" category at world festival, Houston. (May 2005) "Festival De Cine International Iquique" Iquique, Chile. (Aug 2004) "International Panorama of Film & Video" Thessaloniki, Greece. (July 2004) Avli's productions range from dramatic, action-adventure, oriental and Arabic music to modern, electronic rock and pop. He specializes in the use of synthesizers, midi programming, and audio processing. By the age of 25 AVLI produced over 40 live concerts and over 30 records, including two for Israeli artists who were award winners in 2001 and 2004.
