Tember is a Transcultural Electroacoustic Music Ensemble formed in Berlin, by Alireza Ostovar (composer, producer & live-electronics performer) and Azin Zahedi (flutist & santur player) with the aim of creating innovative music with new sound timbre and unique atmospheres using both traditional and contemporary (electroacoustic) music elements and techniques. After releasing their first duo album “La Makan”, Pouria Solhjou (tanbur player) joined them for the second album called “Land Scape” and after that Petros Tzekos (percussionist) joined for various collaborations. Tember Ensemble is open to new formations and collaborations in the genre of “transcultural electroacoustic music” and “interdisciplinary performance”.
