Phillip Edward Alexander has been a public spirited, civic minded social activist for well over 26 years, is the founder of the Jericho Project which has over the years brought relief to thousands of orphans, homeless persons and members of the disabled community. He was instrumental in the passage of the Children’s Authority Act, the Dangerous Dog Act and the implementation of handicapped parking in this country. Leader of the Progressive Empowerment Party, Mr. Alexander challenged the status quo of tribal politics in Trinidad & Tobago in 2020. Now as the founder and Director of the massively popular and growing Citizens Union of Trinidad & Tobago, Mr. Alexander and his long standing team are once again transforming citizen contribution through the creation of a defense mechanism for average persons against abuse in both the public and private sector.
