We are the home of the Annual Walter E. Brandon Sickle Cell 5K Walk/Runs and Philadelphia's representing chapter for the SiNERGe Northeast Regional Sickle Cell Collaborative initiative, "Shine The Light On Sickle Cell" held on World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, June 19th, of every year.
