The Proxy Youth exploded onto the Bristol music scene in late-2018 and quickly emerged as one of city's most hyped young bands, playing events such as BIMM Live, radio stations including Glastonbury FM, and venues The Fleece, Thekla and Exchange, among many others. From their songs 'Broken Britain', '21st Century Noise' and 'We Wanted More', the band have become recognised for their socially relevant, angst-filled anthems with a modern sound, impressing audiences with their high-energy, intense live performances. The Proxy Youth aim to represent the frustration of their generation, focusing on issues such as mental health, politics and the digital age and merging that with a new, updated style of rock music for the coming years.
