Founded in 2011, Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN) is a registered public charitable trust that catalyses change by training and empowering people in retail and allied sectors, as well as creating sustainable livelihoods for persons with disabilities (PwDs) and young women from low-income backgrounds. Our programs include Pankh - Wings of Destiny for PwDs and TRRAINHer Ascent for young women from humble backgrounds. We also organise events like TRRAIN Retail Awards - to give respect & recognition to frontline customer service associates, and EKAM - All Inclusive Summit - to promote thought leadership in DEI space. Retail Employees' Day is celebrated across India and the globe on December 12 to give pride to the real heroes of retail industry. It has become a global movement which started with a simple idea - to say Thank You to those who make our shopping experience special.
