I am Dr Beth Colby, a psychiatrist and qualified GP and I am passionate about mental health education. If you: • have a mental illness; • are a relative, carer or friend of somebody with a mental illness; • are training to become or already are a mental health professional, or • know nothing about mental illnesses whatsoever and want to learn more, this channel is for you! I post videos about mental health conditions and their diagnosis and treatment. I am a psychiatrist by profession. I qualified as a doctor at Bristol University in 1991 Following my GP training, and gaining the MRCGP, DRCOG and DFFP, I did psychiatric training and became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2001.
