SILAFEST has been held for the last 13 years in Veliko Gradište, a small and old town on the banks of the Danube, in eastern Serbia.In addition to tourist films, the Festival has been dealing with environmental films from the very beginning. The festival lasts for 6 days, at the end of August, and all film productions are shown on the open stage located on the banks of the Danube. The festival is regularly visited by film and tourism professionals, producers and journalists from Serbia and abroad. SILAFEST also provides guests with accompanying events. On this part of the Danube bank there is a large number of ancient Roman cities, fortresses as well as, Lepenski vir, Iron Gate... During the Festival, organized representation of culinary specialties, winetasting, concerts, and other types of late evening events. Because of all this, SILAFEST has become known as a festival where you don't sleep too much..This year, unfortunately due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we will all hang out online.
