Reiko began what would become their lifelong musical journey with a Yamaha keyboard at the age of seven. They were born profoundly deaf, but was able to rely on their ability to differentiate notes through Synesthesia in the form of feeling sound. Since they started to hear for the first time at the age of fifteen, Reiko has achieved perfect pitch and added a slew of instruments to the piano, including ocarina, guitar, and others. Reiko is also a contralto and composes classical, jazz, and rock. Some of their work is in the fan film, "The Conquest of Batman." They started to perform publicly at the age of sixteen and has since added music directing to her dream career at the church they currently serve as Minister of Music. Reiko studied piano at the Community College of Rhode Island as a music major, where they graduated with their A.F.A. Music Concentration with High Honors in May of 2018 (with added honors), including other degrees and certificates. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58
