I’m Jonny - a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who’s wrestled with GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) all my playing life. This channel is about playing guitar with intention; for those who want to break free from the constant gear chase and come out the other side with a clearer head and a better sound. Not from more gear, but from more intention. I make videos about tone, restraint, and learning to live with fewer, better choices — in gear, in practice, and in sound. Sometimes that looks like small pedalboards, sometimes it looks like saying no to things I don’t need, and sometimes it’s just documenting the process of becoming a more thoughtful guitarist over time. Hopefully together, we'll become more mindful and better guitarists as I put out these videos. Let's learn from each other!
