Another Country Productions is an independent film and theater company dedicated to tell underrepresented stories. The company was founded in 2003 by Lyralen Kaye, and made its name through its innovative and diverse theater event SLAMBoston, Diverse Voices in Theater. The company now produces short films, plays, multi-media events and web series. The series Assigned Female at Birth, their current production, was filmed remotely using Zoom and smart phones, telling the stories of trans and non-binary people and women across all ages, races, sizes and abilities.
