Che'ri is a multitalented artist. She was 2008's 1st place poetry winner for the McDonald's Gospelfest 25th Anniversary with Kirk Franklin, Donnie McKurlin and more. She took a trip to East Africa, Uganda with the missions team from her church, New Beginnings where she spoke on TOP Radio doing her spoken word piece, "Testimony." She's been on the Apollo, McDonald's Gospelfest 03 & 04, played at Foxwoods Casino-BB King's, and more. She's an artist, writer, poet, teacher, and actress who has written as well as directed plays. You may have seen her on Our Lives Talk Show, Smart Kids Talk Show, or heard her on a few radio stations such as; WDJZ, 1400 WSTC, etc. Che'ri has been on My9, BET, and channel 12. She was writer and columnist for her column, "Talk 2 Me!" in Chocolate City News. Che'ri is involved in her community in a few organizations. She plans to continue ministering through spoken word, and several artforms nationwide.
