Factory is a rock band, originally formed in 1970, in Hastings, UK.
Tony Qunta, lead guitar, electric violin, vocals
Andy Qunta, keyboards, electric 12-string, vocals
Jaffa Peckham, bass guitar, vocals
Laurie Cooksey, drums, vocals
Factory opened for many top bands of the day, including Status Quo, Fleetwood Mac, & Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. They were invited by Roger Daltrey of The Who to record at his studio and he was quoted as saying Factory were “very good”. They recorded a single, “Time Machine”. Jaffa left in 1974, & was replaced by Steve Kinch. Factory broke up in 1976 with a great reputation as a live band, but had never recorded an album.
Fast forward to 2015, the original members of Factory reformed & have since recorded & released 2 albums through Rock Avenue Records USA - Aiming High & Back In The Time Machine, and have continued to play live gigs.
