Deep Sky Astrophotography using an Alt-AZ mount..... Images, imaging, equipment and processing..... Trying to do what can't be done. To be able to attach a DSLR at prime focus the SkyWatcher 150P reflector telescope needs modifications to the focuser to allow further inward travel, this is necessary for DSO imaging. The modification is cheap but voids the guarantee...A video of the modification is available here. If you want 100% clear sharp Hubble standard images then this is not for you, This is deep sky imaging with low cost mounts and short exposure images, this type of kit is great for grab and go, setting up takes 5 minutes, Its perfect for getting a better look at what's up there and the limitations have not been found so there's a whole world of low cost imaging to be discovered. I say low cost, of course you can spend thousands on a CCD or hundreds on filters which all make a difference for the better. We have imaged very faint Nebula and distant Galaxy's with this kit.
