Carlos Escalona, a.k.a “Cruz” is a New York based producer born in Venezuela, known for his work with renowned artists like Fito Páez, Paulina Rubio, Chino y Nacho and Marc Anthony. Although his dedication and perseverance have captured the attention of such mega artists, Cruz’s talent has surpassed the expectations and in 2013 he became the recipient of a BMI award for his production on Paulina Rubio’s single “Me Gustas Tanto”. In 2015 Cruz received his first Latin Grammy nomination in the The Best Children Album Category for “Chino y Nacho For Babies”.
