Dr. Coleman performs individualized wavefront-guided LASIK using the iLASIK™ laser suite. This platform combines the VISX STAR S4™ excimer laser using Iris Recognition and 3-dimensional eye-tracking technology with the 150 kHZ iFS™ femtosecond flap maker. Since May of 2002 Dr. Coleman has been part of on-going FDA evaluations of wavefront-guided laser profiles along with such world-renowned eye institutions as Johns Hopkins, the University of Miami, and Baylor University. He was instrumental in gaining the initial FDA approval for this technology.
