Andrea Molino is an Italian composer and conductor. Those Who Speak In A Faint Voice, a video/music theatre work about capital punishment, the multimedia music theatre projects CREDO and WINNERS, Three Mile Island, - there is no why here - and La vérité, pas toute are examples of his commitment towards innovative, multimedia-oriented performing arts. Recent projects as a conductor include the premiere of Mikael Karlsson's Melancholia at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, the opening of the Chigiana International Festival in Siena with Luciano Berio's Coro and Voci, the New York Stories project with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Berg's Wozzeck and Shostakovich's The Nose in Sydney and the premiere of Cathy Marston's "The Cellist" at the Royal Opera House in London. He had opened the 2010 concert season of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice with the world premiere of Bruno Maderna’s Requiem and the Venice Music Biennale 2005 with Goebbels’ Surrogate Cities.
