Originally from Seattle, Erich McElroy moved to the UK in 2000 and in 2007 collected his British passport. After that he knew he had to start doing stand-up. Erich offers a hilarious and insightful take on the life in the UK through the (somewhat) sober eyes of an American and has delighted audiences up and down the country for many years. While his six full Edinburgh shows have taken a turn for the political (“This is political stand-up at its best." Since 2022 Erich has hosted the podcast 'American Exchange' where he reaches back across the pond to find out what is happening in his home country.
