Bluestone were a Chesterfield band in the late 1990s that enjoyed a few years of local success with original songs. They were signed by Diesel Music Marketing and gigged everywhere from London to Leeds. The music was recorded before digital studios, the gigs were played before camera phones... enjoy what we can put together from iconic Yorkshire and Derbyshire venues like The Attic, The Green Room, The Leadmill, The Boardwalk, and the rest! Peace and love Original line-up: Vocals: Craig Boden (as Depp Kilmer) Lead Guitar: David Smiles Rhythm Guitar: Ben Spiller Bass: Steve Slone Drums: Jim Smith Jim and Ben (the founding members) left, and the talented Chris Richards joined us on drums. We gigged for a couple of years as a four-piece, before Bluestone mk2 began with Bob Richards on Bass, Ben Groom on drums and Russ Bradley on rhythm guitar (RIP my friend). We managed one reunion gig in 2008 before real life took over and relocated David Smiles with work, and Bluestone was no more.
