MISSION The Black Box Lab at Stage284 is a space to foster a vision for new works of theatrical art as well as little known classics from around the world to enrich, entertain, and educate our community. Based on the founding principles of the Royal National Theatre Studio in London, The Black Box Lab seeks to honor the essence of theater with captivating storytelling and dynamic creativity. VISION The Black Box Lab serves as a resource for professionals and non-professionals alike. We aim to create theater based on the traditional values of story, acting, and theme, without the use of elaborate special effects or technology. Our goal is to forge partnerships with existing theaters, joining up in a spirit of exploration. Our small setting allows for a more intimate experience for both cast and audience. We present innovative and entertaining theatre experiences which are recognized artistically and popularly. We are located in the historic town of Hamilton, MA. www.stage284.org
